Feature & Follow #1

Feature & Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet some awesome people, follow some amazing new blogs, and get follows for your own blog!

This week's question: What is the first book you remember reading?

The first book I remember being read to me (by my mom) was Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. It was always one of my favorites!

The first book I could actually read by myself was The Prince's Tooth is Loose. It had sight words that you could cut out in the back of the book, and my mom worked with me on it until I could read the whole thing. I was really proud of myself.

When I got older and started reading chapter books, the first one I remember is Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech.

I have read so many amazing books over the years, but those are a few of my "firsts". What are yours?

If you would like to participate in the Feature & Follow hop as well, head on over to Parajunkee or Alison Can Read and check out the rules. Then make your post and add it to the list!

  1. I used a Robert Munsch book for my FF too! And I absolutely love Walk Two Moons! Though my favourite by Creech is Ruby Hollow.

    1. I wish I still had my original copy. Had to buy a new one for my son, so I'll make sure holds on to his to pass on to his kids. I followed you last night on Bloglovin and I know I commented on your post, but it's not showing up...must have gotten lost in internet land lol.

    1. Mine too, I've read it so many times. I let one of my family members borrow it though, and so I have no idea what happened to my original copy :( Thanks for following - I'm following you back! And I liked your choice - The Boxcar Children were pretty amazing books!

  10. The first two seem very cute! I didn't read books for really little kids. I mean I didn't start on Adult Fiction or anything like that, but my first reads were middle-grade-like. I bet they were adorable...
